Box Design

Box Design by Pro-Ject Audio electronics have a nine-digit serial number, and all their serial numbers begin with "SN:". You need to enter this "SN:" in when entering your serial number, in order to match your registration against our database. So in the example below, the serial number you type in on the warranty registration page would be SN:F28493, with no spaces.

There are still some older-style boxes in circulation, like in the second example below. For these items you do not need to enter the "SN:", just the hand-written six-digit serial, which is always preceded by a letter. So in the example below, the serial number you type in on the warranty registration page would be C36759, with no spaces.

HiFi Rose

All Hi-Fi Rose electronics carry a serial number. The serial number is found on a sticker near to the main barcode, with a smaller barcode printed above and below it. The serial number should be the only code with 14 characters. In the example below, the serial number you type in on the warranty registration page would be OWH909AC000039, with no spaces.

Lehmannaudio

All Lehmann Audio electronics carry a serial number, and can be registered online to protect their warranty. The serial number is found underneath the barcode, often on a silver sticker. Ortofon

Ortofon use two different types of serial number for their traceable products. The first is the most commonly found version, seen on all DJ cartridges and all Hi-Fi cartridges up to the Quintet range (i.e. all models that come in "flat" boxes). In the first example below, the serial number you type in on the warranty registration page would be 50344072, with no spaces. In the second example below, the serial number you type in on the warranty registration page would be 50292752, with no spaces.

Higher end Moving Coil and SPU cartridges have serial number stickers attached to the box. In the case of Cadenzas, these stickers are on the bottom of the box. In the third example below, the serial number you type in on the warranty registration page would be 40977, with no spaces.

Pro-Ject Audio Systems

Pro-Ject turntables have two serial numbers on the box. One is used internally by the factory, while the other is used to trace the goods on their journey from the factory. It is the latter serial number that we need, and it's identified on the box as being accompanied by a barcode. In the first example below, the serial number you type in on the warranty registration page would be 15S005145, with no spaces.

There are still some older-style boxes in circulation, like in the second example below. For these items you need to enter the six-digit "factory" serial number. So in the second example below, the serial number you type in on the warranty registration page would be 002157, with no spaces.

If you have ever disposed of your box and need to register your warranty, the same serial numbers can be found on the underside of your turntable. So in the third example below, the serial number you type in on the warranty registration page would be 15S012760, with no spaces.*

*Please Note: We always recommend you retain your original box and packaging. It is the safest way to transport the turntable again in the future, if you need to.
