HiFi Rose launch the new RD160 DAC

Henley Audio are delighted to announce the imminent UK availability of the HiFi Rose RD160 DAC and pre-amplifier. Spearheading a new product category for the Korean company, the RD160 uses a sophisticated electrical design to deliver a true, high-end digital-analogue conversion.  

With the RD160, listeners can enjoy a pure sound reproduction that is free of noise and totally engaging. Featuring new HiFi Rose technologies, including ROSE DPC™, ROSE NRA™, and ROSE CIM™, the RD160 still strikes the balance that HiFi Rose fans have come to expect of the company. The new DAC is a joy to experience thanks to its sound, innovation, usability, and aesthetic appeal.

• ROSE DPC™ (Digital Processing Core) Module guarantees signal accuracy and precision regardless of the source thanks to its use of an OCXO clock.  

• ROSE CIM™ (Completely Isolated Module) Architecture uses a two-chip solution for unrivalled noise reduction. 

• Fully balanced, dual-mono DAC design with complete mechanical separation between channels. 

• ROSE NRA™ (Noise Reduction Analogue) Filter achieves a flat frequency response, even in the very low frequency range, for a true-to-the-original sound performance.  

• Three customised reference-level linear power supplies drive the two channels and the main digital processing board independently for reduced interference and crosstalk.
