Black Cube SE II x Sven Vath
The Black Cube SE II comes with top notch technology that usually belongs to higher price points, like all Lehmannaudio electronics, the exclusive Sven Vath version of the multi-award-winning Black Cube SE II has it all.

The input stages used in this device can also be found in top notch mixing consoles or in well known professional microphone preamps. The entirely passive RIAA equalisation network is realised with high precision foil capacitors to create an artefact-free transport of microdynamics and room information. The switches for gain and load settings have gold plated connectors for reliable performance.

The maximum gain of the Black Cube SE II is high enough for even very low output MC cartridges. Cartridge adaption itself is totally flexible because gain and loading can be chosen independently from each other. To top this all off, there is a slot for a custom impedance resistor, so that even the most exotic MC cartridges can be loaded adequately without having to buy expensive impedance plugs. No soldering needed.

Because of the small outer dimensions, the SE II audio section can be placed next to the turntable. This minimises signal loss due to cable length.

Lehmannaudio always pays special attention to details: the cable between power supply and audio section is shielded and ensures flexible placement of audio section and PWX power supply. The cases of both the power supply and the audio section are made of non-magnetic aluminium; additionally equipped with a top cover coated with a special anti-resonance treatment for better suppression of microphonic effects.

A brand new feature that is built into the SE II is the entirely passive bass filter, which is a great help when tailoring the lower corner frequency of the vinyl reproduction to personal needs. 16 different filter curves can be realised.

Sven Väth Edition

The exclusive Sven Väth version of the multi-award-winning Black Cube SE II has it all: instead of normal MKP capacitors, Mundorf caps in the circuit's output stage ensure even better transient reproduction. This way, brutal beats as well as fine impulses are reproduced more clearly and with less loss, reverberation effects in the music become more comprehensible, rooms are reproduced more naturally, and proportions are represented more realistically.

As the proud owner of a Black Cube SE II Sven Väth, you can literally bathe in the music and sink into it as if you were on the dance floor. Hardly any other system can be tailored to your listening habits and tonal preferences as individually as this outstanding device. The Black Cube SE II Sven Väth will bring you and your favourite music together even more intensively.

Lehmannaudio Black Cube SE II Sven Väth Phono Stage Review

"My feeling is that Lehmann's Black Cube SE II Sven Väth, with its fancy DJ provenance and trick Mundorf capacitors, is highly worthwhile."

The Black Cube has branched into several iterations and versions over the years, resulting in a range that is sure to meet your requirements whatever your need. But the consistently impressive thing about Lehmannaudio phonostages is their size; boasting a compact footprint that allows them to be flexibly placed in full HiFi systems and desktop set-ups alike, these phono stages punch well above their weight, offering performance similar to some much more expensive models.
